The Office of Health Equity works with diverse multisector partners to advance health equity by reducing health-related disparities in targeted priority populations through five core programs: Community Engagement; Community Health Workers Initiative (CHWI); Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health (ICO4MCH); Triple P (Positive Parenting Program); and Village HeartBEAT.

Improving birth outcomes, reducing infant mortality and improving health among children aged zero to 5.

Gives parents the practical skills they need to build strong family relationships, manage and prevent misbehavior problems.
Village HeartBEAT

Engaging and training members of faith-based organizations, small businesses, and community partners in strategies to prevent chronic disease through a faith-based community engagement initiative.
