Data and Reports
The Epidemiology Program organizes, analyzes, and distributes health indicator data to staff, city and county agencies, nonprofit agencies, the media and the general public. Commonly requested data includes communicable diseases, tuberculosis (TB), sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, birth and death data, injury data, community health objectives, health behavior survey data and county demographics.

How to Build a Report using the NC Data Portal
Use North Carolina Data Portal to create a health report for a specific region using specific indicators:
- Click “Build a Health Assessment” button.
- Select the region you are interested in and click the “Data Indicators” button to proceed.
- Select the indicators you would like to include and click the “Reports” button to create the report.
- View report and use the “Download As,” “Report Options,” “Share,” and “Print” buttons to perform additional actions with the report.
