Mecklenburg County Public Health offers many different resources to help you be the example for your family when it comes to eating healthy and engaging in physical activity.
Eating healthy foods like fruits and veggies, gives our bodies the right fuel to grow and stay strong. To help us fight off sickness and keep our bones and muscles in good shape. Actively moving our bodies by walking, gardening, playing, running, or participating in sports inside a building or outside makes our hearts happy, keeps us fit, and makes our brains feel good.
