Interns

Internship and Volunteer Opportunities

Interning with Mecklenburg County Public Health is a great way to learn about and contribute to the great work we do in the community. We understand that meaningful internships help ensure a well-rounded and prepared public health workforce now and for the future.

Internship availability varies by program and time of year. To inquire about specific opportunities, please complete the internship inquiry form (completion of this form does not guarantee placement).

Prior to accepting interns, we must have an Affiliation Agreement between Mecklenburg County and the student’s college/university. Please note that the process to establish a new agreement can take a few months.
