Youth Mental Health First Aid: Blended In-Person
This training is for any caring adult (school staff, coaches, camp counselors, youth group leaders, parents, caregivers, etc.) who interacts with youth 12-18 years old and would like to learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.
This is a BLENDED course, which means you must complete 2 hours of pre-work online before you can attend the in-person portion of the training. Instructions on how to complete the pre-work will be provided after registration is complete.
You must complete all pre-work, post-work, and attend the full live portion of the training to become certified as a Mental Health First Aider. The certification lasts 3 years and can be submitted to your credentialing board for up to 7.5 continuing education credits.
