Mecklenburg County's Safe Routes to School program participates in International Walk or Roll to School Day and International Bike to School Day events each year - schools, communities and families are all invited to take part. These events are opportunities for school communities and families to encourage walking, biking, and rolling to school to reinforce their commitments to increased physical activity and healthier lifestyles for our youth.
