Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Training
ReCAST II Mecklenburg is thrilled to partner with the Center for Child & Family Health, NC Child Treatment Program, and South Piedmont AHEC to offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Certification—a powerful, evidence-based approach for helping children and families heal from trauma.
What is TF-CBT
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a nationally recognized, research-driven treatment proven to help children and adolescents overcome trauma-related emotional and behavioral challenges. This approach equips therapists with tools to support both youth and caregivers in building resilience and restoring hope.
TF-CBT Requirements
The TF-CBT certification is for licensed therapists in the state of North Carolina. Individuals must hold a license (full or provisional) in good standing from a licensing board (NC Social Work Board, NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, etc.).
