TF-CBT Information Sessions

ReCAST II Mecklenburg is thrilled to partner with the Center for Child & Family Health, NC Child Treatment Program, and South Piedmont AHEC to offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Certification—a powerful, evidence-based approach for helping children and families heal from trauma.

What is TF-CBT?

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a nationally recognized, research-driven treatment proven to help children and adolescents overcome trauma-related emotional and behavioral challenges. This approach equips therapists with tools to support both youth and caregivers in building resilience and restoring hope.

Who Should Attend the Information Session?

All mental health clinicians providing direct service for youth and families in Mecklenburg County who are interested in becoming TF-CBT certified are welcome to attend. During the information session you will learn everything you need to learn about:

  • The TF-CBT curriculum and certification process
  • Application and selection steps for this exclusive initiative
  • How this training can transform your practice and impact your community
