National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Feb. 7 is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD), first observed in 1999. This day is dedicated to recognizing the disproportionate impact of HIV on Black communities.

This year, National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day will be observed in collaboration with our Faith-Based Organizations: The Connecting Place-Greater Salem Church, The Heights Ministries, and the Mecklenburg County HIV/STD Division. The event will take place at The Connecting Place-Greater Salem Church. The reception will start at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.
