Mecklenburg County Public Health will recognize National HIV Testing Day on June 27 by providing free testing for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and information and referrals for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) – an HIV prevention medication.

There will be free testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI) offered at multiple locations throughout the week including:

  • June 24, 5–9 p.m. – Mad Miles Run Club (300 Camp Rd., Charlotte)
  • June 27, 12-3 p.m. – Valerie C. Woodard Center (3205 Freedom Dr. Charlotte)
  • June 27, 6-9 p.m. – TCB 54 Hundred Bar (5400 Nevin Rd., Charlotte)
  • June 28, 10 p.m.-1 a.m. – Woodshed Bar (3935 Queen City Dr., Charlotte)
