
HIV/STI Testing Event
Mecklenburg County Public Health will recognize National HIV Testing Day on June 27 by providing free testing for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and information and referrals for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) – an HIV prevention medication.
There will be free testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI) offered at multiple locations throughout the week including:
- June 24, 5–9 p.m. – Mad Miles Run Club (300 Camp Rd., Charlotte)
- June 27, 12-3 p.m. – Valerie C. Woodard Center (3205 Freedom Dr. Charlotte)
- June 27, 6-9 p.m. – TCB 54 Hundred Bar (5400 Nevin Rd., Charlotte)
- June 28, 10 p.m.-1 a.m. – Woodshed Bar (3935 Queen City Dr., Charlotte)
