Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) Training
Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) is a trauma-informed way for any adult to interact with any child or teen ages 2-18. It seeks to increase positive child-adult interaction, child compliance, and child engagement. CARE uses ideas and skills derived from evidence-based positive parenting programs. The fun-filled, fast-paced training includes didactics, videos, discussion, and interactive activities where participants practice skills and receive immediate, personalized feedback. CARE is not a therapy program, though it can complement mental health treatments.
